i feel your pain about the old house! our current home was built in 1920. we are having sub-zero weather right now and thankfully no burst pipes. our new home was built in 1951 - slightly newer, but still old.
on another note - as we have been packing up all of our belongings getting ready to move, i came across one Life of Pi book, belonging to a miss jennifer staab. any idea an address that i might be able to forward this book on too? it has been well cared for over the last 2 years and would like to return to its home.
