Various

I cannot claim to be a classical music guru, but listening to Mozart played on the cello is probably one of the best activities to do on a Friday afternoon while stuck at work in a very warmish stuffy office. The music makes is easy to stare off into space and find one's self walking along a rainy and dark cobblestone alley in Vienna hunting for that elusive coffee shop, or perhaps in a large cathedral, with the sun shining into the dusty atmosphere with confidence that it will be welcomed by the many pilgrims who have come from miles away to pray.

On another note, this seems to be the week in my film class to focus on 1980s action films. I am actually surprised at the excellent cinematography found in action. My first paper for the class is to compare Citizen Kane with First Blood. I would never have put the two together in any shape or form, but perhaps there can be some kind of paralells drawn behind a slaviciously rich mogul who dies holding a snow globe and a crazed vet who holes himself up in caves while wearing torn clothes as a bandana.

If you have ever considered owning a Wombat as a pet, perhaps you might enjoy Underdogs.

Uhm. Remember what we talked about today? Out by your car in the parking lot after church? We were laughing hysterically. Well...I went and looked, and didn't see it. Help, please?

p.s. Thanks for lunch! Your dad is a funny guy.

Underdogs = amazing stuff to read out loud with as much melodrama as you can muster sitting alone in your office.

Thank you, Jen. Thank you.
