A Reflection

Light must reflect off of something in order to be seen... probably common sense to you all, but at the moment, it seems quite profound.

"If there were not a reflecting Atmosphere, the sky would appear always dark, and you could see the stars even suring the day. In deep space, the astronauts see a black sky enen in sunlight. If our surroundings did not reflect light, we would live in total darkness, much as if there were no light at all" (18).
